ONBOARDING SPECIALIST – NORTH YORK

A.S.P provides services to a wide range of clients with a significant presence in the Commercial and Residential spaces in Ontario as well as some of the largest airports in Canada.
Based at our Residential and Commercial Office at North York, the Onboarding Specialist will be providing professional and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition, training and Human Resource departments, providing a smooth onboarding process and probationary period to all employees, and will be reporting directly to the Associate Director- Talent Acquisition.

What you will do:
  • Coordinate and manage all documentation and communication for new hires, ensuring timely submission to Human Resources
  • Conduct employee wellness check-ins during the first 30 days of employment
  • Support the onboarding process from start to finish, including scheduling required training sessions
  • Maintain and track all training credentials for new hires within A.S.P.’s ERP system
  • Assist with uniform distribution and prepare welcome and onboarding communications
  • Proactively schedule training for existing employees with expiring certifications
  • Perform additional administrative and support duties as assigned
Who you are:
  • Post-secondary education or experience in Human Resources administration preferred
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems an asset
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Office especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills- both oral & written
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult callers, stressful situations, and multiple tasks in a professional, and constructive manner
  • Attention to detail with the ability to act with discretion and confidentiality

Salary Range: $20-22 hourly for 40 hours a week.
